“Faith and Hope”

March 15, 2009 (4:00 PM)

St. John’s United Church of Christ
503 N Lombardy St., Richmond

Faith (noun): Allegiance to duty, person, or God
Hope (noun): Desire with expectation for fulfillment

The RMC presents some of our favorite sacred selections including a double choir version of Vivaldi’s Christe Eleison, spirituals Ain’-A-That Good News and Deep River, and songs of contemplative prayer, such as In This Very Room. We also present inspirational songs from a secular view, including Emily Dickinson’s poem Hope, Holly Near’s protest song I Ain’t Afraid, and a breast cancer survivor’s “taking control” song Livin’ Out Loud Blues.

We HOPE that you will join us!
